'Insane': New York Line for COVID-19 Tests Stretches Down Street as Cases Spike Across the City

Positive cases of the coronavirus continued to rise across New York City, resulting in long lines for testing around the five boroughs on Friday, November 20.

As of November 20, New York had reported 275,986 confirmed cases and 19,517 deaths from COVID-19.

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Wednesday that city public schools would move to complete virtual learning as the positivity rate surpassed three percent. Gov Andrew Cuomo urged New Yorkers to avoid travel and gathering for Thanksgiving.
