Inside Dudley's 'H Line' drugs gang smashed after flooding town with heroin and crack
It was the huge county lines gang that flooded streets with Class A drugs. Now the Dudley-based 'H Line' has been smashed by officers.
Sajad Hussain, Shahoon Qurban, Stacey Bryan and Michael Hill have been caged for a combined total of more than two decades. The quartet are said to have sold heroin and crack cocaine to users across the market town.
West Midlands Police said they would send bulk text messages to potential buyers advertising drugs for sale. In less than nine months, the main phone number in the operation sent out a staggering 27,000 text messages.

It was December 2022 when their illicit actions eventually came crashing down around them. Officers executed warrants at the home addresses of all four gang members and seized mobile phones, cash and drugs. They were all arrested and subsequently charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Detective Constable Thomas Reece who led the investigation said: “This is a significant victory in our fight against drug trafficking. After months of relentless investigation, we've successfully dismantled a complex drug ring that has been wreaking havoc in our community.
“This operation not only highlights the dedication and teamwork, but also underscores our commitment to keeping our streets safe. We will continue to work tirelessly to hold those who exploit and harm our neighbourhoods accountable. “
Hussain, 51, of The Broadway in Dudley, was found guilty following a trial and jailed for nine years. Qurban, aged 39 of Richmond Road, admitted charges and was jailed for nine years and seven months. Bryan, aged 38 of Iron Foundry Drive and Hill, aged 37 of Windsor Crescent, also admitted charges and were jailed for four years each.
