Inside Soap Awards' 2020 ceremony is just a week away, and while it's going to be a different kind of affair to usual because of... this year, it is still a little bit of normality that we are greatly looking forward to.

We already know who is nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress, but now the nominees for every category have been revealed, so let's go through them, shall we?

For Best Newcomer we've got EastEnders' Jaz Doel (Kheerat Panesar), Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher (Nina Lucas), Emmerdale Max Parker (Luke Posner), and Hollyoaks' Callum Kerr (George Kiss).

The Best Partnership category will see Hollyoaks' Imran Adams and Ross Adams (Mitchell Deveraux and Scott Drinkwell) face off against Coronation Street's Sam Aston and Dolly-Rose Campbell (Chesney Brown and Gemma Winter), Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter and Dominic Brunt (Chas and Paddy Dingle), and EastEnders' Kellie Bright and Danny Dyer (Linda and Mick Carter).

Going one step further, the Best Family category features Coronation Street's Barlow-McDonalds, Emmerdale's Dingles, Hollyoaks' McQueens and EastEnders' Taylors facing off. If only that was an actual charity sketch we could watch, eh?

A soap would be nothing without a baddie, and the Best Villain category this year is strong all around, with Coronation Street's Ian Bartholomew (Geoff Metcalfe), EastEnders' Toby Alexander-Smith (Gray Atkins), Hollyoaks' Bobby Gordon (Toby Faroe) and Emmerdale's Mark Womack (DI Mark Malone) in contention.

Lightening things up we've got Funniest Performance, with Coronation Street's Maureen Lipman (Evelyn Plummer), Emmerdale's Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle), EastEnders' Lorraine Stanley (Karen Taylor), and Hollyoaks' Jessamy Stoddart (Liberty Savage).

To quickly recap, up for Best Actress are Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen, Hollyoaks), Jessica Plummer (Chantelle Atkins, EastEnders), Natalie J Robb (Moira Dingle, Emmerdale) and Shelley King (Yasmeen Metcalfe, Coronation Street).

The Best Actor category consists of Ashley Taylor Dawson (Darren Osborne, Hollyoaks), Ian Bartholomew (Geoff Metcalfe, Coronation Street), Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle, Emmerdale) and Max Bowden (Ben Mitchell, EastEnders).

The Feel-Good Moment is a new category for this year, but which soap will take home the first prize for it? Will be EastEnders' Pride celebrations, Hollyoaks' Sienna getting her babies back, Coronation Street's Gemma birthing her quads, or Emmerdale's Chas welcoming baby Eve into this world?

From the most heart-warming moments to the biggest, with the nominees for Best Show-Stopper: Tony's rescue and Breda's death in Hollyoaks, Yasmeen's fight back against Geoff in Corrie, EastEnders' 35th anniversary river disaster, and Emmerdale's showdown between Cain and Nate on the lake.

Of course, there's also Best Soap, where the nominees are... well, the four soaps we've been constantly mentioning (Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, of course).

Daytime soaps also get a look-in, with Doctors' Bharti Patel (Ruhma Carter), Home and Away's Ray Meagher (Alf Stewart) and Neighbours' Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson) up for Best Daytime Star, and the three shows themselves up for Best Daytime Soap.

Holby City and Casualty aren't being left out either, as the former's Rosie Marcel (Jac Naylor) and Alex Walkinshaw (Fletch) go up against the latter's Derek Thompson (Charlie Fairhead) and Cathy Shipton (Duffy) for Best Drama Star.
