Rita Ora's latest Instagram post has offered up some serious life advice, following her recent surgery.
The 29-year-old singer took to the platform to reflect on life since undergoing a tonsillectomy (a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils). In a video of the star painting,
In an Instagram video – in which Ora is seen painting DIY Valentine's Day cards – she reflected:’So these past 2 weeks I under went a Tonsillectomy and let me tell you, it’s no joke.
'It’s SO painful, but on the plus side it’s given me time to reflect relax and heal.’
‘It’s a blessing to be able to heal in peace and put everything into perspective and visualise the rest of your year and what’s coming or what you want to achieve.’
She continued: ’I am such a believer in setting intentions into the universe as it DOES listen.’
As to the painting? This ties into her new life philosophy.
She caveats to the camera: 'I’m not the best drawer in the world and I don’t have a lot of experience in art but at the same time, who gives a f*ck.'
'Learning new things has always been a obsession of mine'.
The singer rounded things off by encouraging her fans to do the same by saying: 'If you don’t have anyone or you don’t want to give anyone a present this year, just do it for yourself’.
