Internet craze encourages users to lay their legs across friends to show off their pins

Another week, another bizarre craze that’s sweeping the Internet in China.

This time around, people have been taking photos of themselves laid out across their friends – in a bid to stretch their legs across as many people as possible.

The craze was accidentally started by Chinese entertainer Kris Wu, after the 24-year-old uploaded a photo online – which showed his pins taking up the entirety of a couch on a boat.

Now, Wu’s fans have been imitating him – and posting photos of their legs over a row of friends on Weibo, China’s answer to Twitter.

The bizarre craze comes weeks after a similar fad – in which Weibo users were encouraged to touch their belly buttons by stretching their arms around their back to prove their fitness.

But online user ShiShao believes that the latest craze is a lot easier for everyone involved, unsurprisingly.

At last a challenge that doesn’t involve any effort other than having long legs and uploading a selfie’, he wrote.
