Investigation Underway After Students Left to Climb Over Train in Virginia

Chesapeake Public Schools said it was investigating an incident in which students were filmed climbing over a stationary train after being left there by a school bus on May 1, local media reported.

Footage of the incident was posted to Facebook by Patrick Priest, who expressed concern that the school bus driver had allowed the children to climb over the train, which he said could have moved at any moment.

WTKR reported that the rail company involved, Norfolk Southern Railway, said the only safe place to cross was at a designated public crossing. Credit: Patrick Priest via Storyful
