Iraqi Air Force Strike Islamic State Targets in Syria

Iraqi warplanes reportedly struck Islamic State targets on Syrian territory in retaliation for recent attacks on Baghdad on February 24. Last week, a car bombing in a crowded street of south Baghdad claimed at least 55 lives.

According to Iraqi reports, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al Abadi confirmed the strikes on al-Bukamal and Hasiba in Deir Ezzor.
