“Iron Claw” Actors Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson 'Would Love to' Enter WWE Ring
"Only if all you guys were there," Zac Efron told his 'Iron Claw' costars Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson in a chat for 'Entertainment Weekly'
Zac Efron is ready to rumble.
In a chat with Entertainment Weekly ahead of the release of the sports biopic The Iron Claw, actors Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson revealed that they would be down to enter the ring in real life, after training to play the real-life Von Erich brothers for the drama.
"Oh, I would jump in," White, 32, said during the conversation, which was held in compliance with A24's SAG-AFTRA interim agreement amid the actors' strike.
"I would love to," added Dickinson, 27. "Do you remember at the end of the shoot? We were like, 'Should we try and do this for real?' "
"We went to [director Sean Durkin] and were like, 'Sean, call them! Tell them we're ready!' " White said, as Efron, 36, recalled, "Yeah, call WWE! Say we're going to do it!"

Dickinson asked his costars if they would "honestly" make a real WWE appearance if asked — and while White answered "F--- yeah" with no hesitation, Efron told his costars with a smile after some thought, "Only if all you guys were there."
The actors ate thousands of calories a day and trained for months to play Kevin Von Erich (Efron), Kerry Von Erich (White) and David Von Erich (Dickinson), sibling wrestling champions who deal with familial struggles and try to live up to the expectations of their father, famed professional wrestler Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany).
Efron told his costars that he "was blown away on the first day that [they] came to work," adding, "You were jumping off ropes and doing huge hits."
Said White, "We had some time [training] in L.A. But I don't know, Zac, I never saw you not good at anything."
Efron was first spotted on the movie's set in October 2022, showing off his muscular physique and new hairdo wearing just a towel around his waist.
White shared with Esquire in May that he and Efron bulked up for the roles by “never stopping” eating, with White saying the Baywatch actor made the process look easy.
“Zac’s a maniac,” The Bear actor said about his costar. “He’s so focused and knowledgeable on training, diet, all that."
White added of Efron, "In terms of a physical transformation, I think he kind of blew us all out of the water. He looks really amazing in this thing.”
The Iron Claw is in theaters Dec. 22.
