‘Irresponsible’ Katie Price slated by fans who fear son Jett had no seat belt on during fast car ride

Katie Price has come under fire for posting a video of son Jett riding in a moving car, seemingly without a seat belt.

Price was branded an “idiot” by fans on Instagram and accused of bad parenting after she shared the video of herself and children Jett, four, and Bunny, three, on Monday.

The video shows the siblings giggling as they speed along in a friend’s car, with Price asking: “Woah up the driveway. Is that funny?”

She captioned the clip: “Jett Bunny in the back of my friends car up the driveway.”

The post sparked a furious backlash as many claimed Jett was not wearing a seat belt. One user commented: “Why don't they have seat belts on ffs @officialkatieprice.”

Another wrote: “On driveway or not seat belts should be on .....end of !”

A third posted: “Should you not have your young children strapped into their car seat before you go driving around? Seriously you might be a “celebrity “ but you’re not above the law! Irresponsible or what!”

But others jumped to her defence insisting she would never put her children at risk.

Standard Online has contacted a representative for Price for comment.

Price has Jett and Bunny with estranged husband Kieran Hayler, who she recently accused of cheating on her again with a 19-year-old Co-op employee.

Price branded Kieran Hayler a “lost cause” and said she wishes she hadn’t “wasted five years” of her life with him as she opened up about the new accusations, as well as revealing he had been messaging an ex.

“One night when he was asleep, I got his finger and pressed it against his phone so it unlocked it, and there it all was,” she told OK!

“He’ll never change and I just can’t stand him. I should have split up with him when he first cheated on me but I was so determined to make it work.”

Hayler had a 10-month affair with her former best friend, Jane Pountney in 2014. Price last year claimed she also found e-mails confirming Hayler had a 12-month affair with their nanny Nikki Brown. Brown has always vehemently denied the allegations.

Price has since found love with Kris Boyson. The couple have holidayed together and Price believes their relationship will be “less toxic”.
