ISIS Karaoke: Genius Twitter Account Mocks Jihadists With Song Lyrics

A new Twitter account mocking ISIS jihadists by posting lyrics as if they are singing has amassed thousands of followers in just two weeks.

The ISIS Karaoke account shows various extremists holding a microphone with lines from classic pop songs alongside.

The effect is as if they are actually performing karaoke down your local on a Saturday night rather than spouting hate on the streets.

Set up last month, the account now has over 36,000 followers and each post has hundreds of retweets and favourites.

One post shows a group of fighters apparently in training but the picture takes on a whole new angle with the added Madonna lyrics: “Come on Vogue, let your body move to the music, hey hey hey, come one Vogue, let your body go with the flow.”

Another picture shows radical cleric Anjem Choudary with some Taylor Swift sass alongside as he appears to sing: “"Coz the players gonna play, play, play, play, play, and the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.”

Sound advice. Maybe ISIS need to let loose at the Lamb and Flag and they might have a better outlook on the world.
