There's just no stopping the Dunlop road racing dynasty. Joey Dunlop's Isle of Man TT record stood for 24 years, but on Saturday there was another rider joining 'Yer Maun' at the top of the standings.

Fittingly, it was Michael Dunlop who joined his uncle on 26 TT wins. He surged to victory in Saturday's Supersport race to write his own name into the history books.

It was an emotional podium as bike fans saluted the 35-year-old Ballymoney man, and who knows how many more he can win during the remainder of this year's Isle of Man TT.

Organisers marked the moment with a special video montage featuring footage of both Michael and the late, great Joey. It evokes some great memories of their achievements on the Mountain Course. Check it out here:

Dunlop admitted equalling his uncle Joey's record was a "special moment".

He said: "To equal Joey's record is special. It is something that has been playing on our mind all week. It has probably been on everyone's mind.

"It is fantastic. There is not much more I can do. No matter what happens in life now, everyone has wanted to get to Joey's record and I have got to it.

"For me, that is something special."
