Crews from Ashfield, Mansfield, Hucknall, Worksop and Edwinstowe fire stations attended. One crew remained at the scene as late as 11am the next morning.

Business units were burnt to the ground during the fire, with the owners of one business, Cabourns Carpentry, asking the public for help with fundraising after they lost everything they owned. A target of £5,000 was raised within 24 hours.

Jack and Sarah Cabourn said at the time: "Last night was possibly the worst night of our lives. We had to stand on the street and watch our business burn to the ground. Our whole livelihood, our life. The sole thing that provides for our family and it’s all gone. Just like that."

Also destroyed was fishing shop Lockdown Tackle & Bait. Other units at the park include shopfitter DSK Bespoke Interiors Ltd and motor repair shop LSG Automotive.
