Colwick Park & Ride will remain closed after travellers descended on the car park. Nottingham City Council's transport sector shut the site after caravans parked up on both the Colwick/Racecourse and Queens Drive Park & Rides on November 27.

Both remained closed on Thursday, November 28. But the council said that Queens Drive was expected to reopen on Friday, November 29.

But as it stands, there is no reopening date for Colwick. Nottingham City Council has apologised for the inconvenience and offered a map of alternative park and rides.

Buses are also affected, with the NCT 44 and 50 services unable to serve the stop. It's just weeks after the park and ride was closed due to an illegal encampment on Thursday, November 14.

For Queens Drive, while it remains closed, the NCT Navy 49 will remain on its route as service 49A. Nottingham City Council has asked passengers to use Clifton Bridge North as an alternative.

The CT4N Medilink 1 bus will operate as normal, while the CT4N Medilink 2 will operate between QMC and Abbeyfield House, opposite the Queens Drive Park & Ride, every 20 minutes.
