Istanbul Plane Crash Site Illuminated by Authorities

Pegasus Airlines flight 2193 overran a runway and crashed at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen International Airport on February 5, according to local media reports.

Istanbul’s governor, Ali Yerlikaya, said that 177 passengers were on board the flight and at least 21 people were injured in the crash. The airport was closed to traffic after the incident.
