England take on Italy in their final Six Nations match more than seven months later than planned as the 2020 Championship culminates in what could be a thrilling ‘Super Saturday’.

Three teams go into the final day with hopes of claiming the Six Nations, with England the bookmakers’ favourites to win the title for the first time since 2017. Both France and Ireland can also claim the spoils, though they face off against each other in Paris in the final match of the tournament that will decide who emerges at the top of the table.

Once Wales and Scotland have wrapped up their campaigns in Llanelli, England will look to rack up the points against an Italian side that is looking to break a 26-game losing streak in the Six Nations, having not beaten an opponent since 2015.

England know that a bonus-point victory is a must for any realistic title hopes, meaning the need to score at least four tries at the Stadio Olimpico, but points difference is also likely to prove a factor that will ensure they cannot laissez faire when it comes to defence.

Head coach Eddie Jones has been forced into considerable changes, which is no surprise given the seven months that have passed since their last game in the victory over Wales.

With Joe Marler, George Kruis, Courtney Lawes, Mark Wilson, George Ford, Manu Tuilagi and Elliot Daly all ruled out of the clash, Jones has blended a squad of experience and untapped potential in what is something of the unknown for the Rugby World Cup finalists.
