ITV The 1% Club's baffling final question that was solved in seconds - but can you answer it?

The 1% Club was back on our screens tonight with more tricky quiz questions based on logic. The hit ITV quiz show, hosted by Lee Mack, returned for a repeated episode.

The show sees 100 contestants playing in the studio for a shot at £100,000. They have to answer increasingly difficult questions based on logic, all with just 30 seconds on the clock.

The questions start out with a question 90% of the British public can answer, right down to the final question that only 1% could get correct. During the season three episode, only three players remained by the time Lee got to the 10% question.

And the two remaining players both got the 5% question wrong. But they were still invited for a shot at the final question after being the two to make it farthest in the show for a chance to win £98,000, or a share of £10,000 if one decided to leave or both decided to play on.

Thomas decided to take his share of £5,000, while Hillal decided to play on for the prize pot of £98,000.

But can you answer it?

The final 1% question was: "What letter completes this sequence? SMHDWM."

The conestants in the show are given just 30 seconds to answer, but you can have a bit longer if you need it. Still struggling?

The answer - Hillal answered Y and was confirmed to be correct by Lee Mack. The letters in the sequence stood for Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Says, Weeks, Months, so the correct answer was Y for Years.

Hillal, who was so stunned by her win that she didn't say a word and had tears in her eyes. One stunned viewer wrote on X: "How quick did she get that 1% question."
