Our latest TV addiction was back tonight (December 12), as ITV's Bancroft continued with episode two of its four-part murder mystery.

Unlike shows like Broadchurch, the first episode ended with the mind-boggling twist that Sarah Parish's titular lead was actually the murderer herself.

However, the show isn't just held up by Parish and her floating scar, Game of Thrones' Faye Marsay was closing in on DS Bancroft as the tenacious DS Katherine Stevens.

Stevens was like a dog with a bone as she refused to let the murder of Laura Fraser lie, which put her right in the crosshairs of fans who were on the edge of their seats.
