Britain's Got Talent has cancelled auditions after Liam Payne died aged 31. Tributes have been pouring in for the One Direction star after he died in Buenos Aires.
The singer died after falling from the third-floor of a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, local officials told Argentinian media. Local police said the singer fell from the third floor into the courtyard of the Casa Sur Hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood of Argentina’s capital before medics confirmed his death.
Liam shot to stardom in 2010 when One Direction were formed on the X Factor. The band were managed by Simon Cowell until the group parted ways in 2016.
Simon is currently touring the country for the audition stages of Britain's Got Talent. The next stage of auditions were set to take place in Blackpool today.

However, a statement from television audience company, ApplauseStore has confirmed the auditions have been postponed following Liam's death.
A post on Instagram said: "Due to the tragic passing of Liam Payne, BGT has decided to postpone today's auditions in Blackpool. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The X Factor's official Instagram account has posted a tribute to Liam after his death. It said: "We are heartbroken by the sad passing of Liam Payne.
"He was immensely talented and, as part of One Direction, Liam will leave a lasting legacy on the music industry and fans around the world. Our thoughts are with his friends, family and all who loved him.”
