ITV Britain's Got Talent winner confirmed following epic final show

The winner of Britain's Got Talent was announced on Sunday night, following a star-studded show from the eleven acts who made it onto the big stage in a bid to impress.

Following a tense showdown, it was Syndie Christmas who walked away with the cash prize on the ITV talent show and will perform at the Royal variety show later this year. Hosts Ant and Dec announced the news, as she broke down on stage.

Making it as runner-up was Jack Rhodes, with Abigail and Afronitaaa coming in third place. Reacting to the win, Sydnie said: "I don't know what to say. I cannot believe the amount of love I felt, oh my god, I am overwhelmed with love."

Jack added: "Thanks to everyone who voted and my wife for all her support, it's been amazing." Fourth place went to Innocent Masuku. The finalists were also joined by wildcard The Trickstars, adorable dancing dogs. They re-created a stage act from The Greateast Showman which left animal-lover Simon impressed.
