The Chase fans said it is "time for a new host" on the ITV game show, following Bradley Walsh's unusual behaviour during Monday night's episode. Four fresh quizzers were up against Paul Sinha, The Sinnerman, as Bradley welcomed Tom, Sharon, Donna and Kevin to the show.

As the episode began some viewers immediately noticed Bradley's unusual behaviour and took to social media to voice their opinion. One said: "Why does Bradley Walsh do this show anymore, he has zero banter with the guest now and looks miserable, time for a new host."

More viewers agreed as the show continued: "This show needs a total revamp. It’s just so dated now and Brad seems ambivalent." Other fans added: "Brad looks like he’s had enough."

The 64-year old TV presenter has fronted the hit ITV quiz show since it first aired in 2009. Bradley usually enjoys some amicable small talk with each contestant. In a recent podcast with Laura Hamilton, Bradley said he films three episodes of The Chase per day, which "is a bit full on." On Monday, he lacked his usual jokey personality, as viewers have grown to love the comical interactions between the host and the Chaser.

Tom and Kevin made it through to the next round with a prize pot of a whopping £80,000, as Sharon and Donna failed to beat The Sinnerman. In a final chase, The Sinnerman caught Tom and Kevin's weak score of 11 with 48 seconds left to spare on the clock. The Chase is on ITV at 5pm.
