ITV Coronation Street fans spot vital detail that Dee-Dee didn't kill Joel after confession
Coronation Street fans have spotted a vital clue that 'proves' Dee-Dee Bailey didn't kill ex Joel Deering.
It was recently revealed that missing evil solicitor Joel had been murdered with everyone treated as a suspect on the cobbles. All soap watchers know so far is that Joel was murdered on the night of September 27 and it is believed he was killed with a heavy item such as a crowbar.
Earlier this month, the hit ITV soap revealed that a series of dramatic flashbacks will help viewers piece the puzzle together with fans already seeing flashbacks involving suspects Ronnie Bailey, Mason Radcliffe, Ed Bailey and Joel's ex Dee-Dee.

Meanwhile, episodes last week saw the spotlight on DS Lisa Swain and Carla Connor while earlier this week Kit Green was added as suspect after a suspicious flashback. With Ronnie, Mason, Ed, Dee-Dee, DS Swain, Carla and Kit all teased as suspects, Friday's episode saw an explosive twist.
During the episode, Dee-Dee broke down in tears to her father Ed as she confessed that she killed Joel after finding out he was about to do a runner. Dee-Dee insisted she was going to hand herself into the police but her horrified father tried to talk her out of it to which she reluctantly agreed not to go to the station.
Taking to Twitter, now X, soap watchers are convinced that Dee-Dee is innocent as they spotted a detail. One person said: "I don’t think it was Dee-Dee, they wouldn’t reveal that just before a first break. I’m thinking she thinks she killed him but someone else finished him off #Corrie".
Meanwhile, a different account wrote: "I do not think that Dee-Dee killed Joel to be honest I still think it's Kit !! The reason why I believe it's kit is because he is dodgy as hell #Corrie" while another fan added: "Nah too obvious ,not sure who but it isn't Dee Dee , could be Kit."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on both ITV and ITV X.
