ITV Coronation Street Sally Metcalfe star leaves fans in disbelief after family update with famous daughter

Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor has been supported as she issued a tribute to her TV star daughter. The soap star is renowned for her role as Sally Metcalfe on the Cobbles.

The 61-year-old has been a key member of the show since she first joined the show in 1986. Sally regularly keeps fans updated with her life away from the screen on Instagram.

She doesn't get too much of a break from the world of showbiz as she hails from a famous household. Her husband, Tim Dynevor, is a scriptwriter, who wrote for Emmerdale until 2016. The happily married couple are the proud parents of three children, including Phoebe and Hattie who have followed their mum into the world of acting.

Phoebe played the lead role in Netflix's Bridgerton and Hattie plays Libbie in Waterloo Road. The proud mum has taken to Instagram today to issue a special tribute to Hattie on her 21st birthday.

She said: "Happy 21st Birthday to my little treasure. What a beautiful woman you are, inside and out. I couldn’t be prouder of the person you are."

Sally's Corrie co-stars took to the comments to heap praise on the happy family as they marked the update. Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby, said: "She’s truly beautiful inside and out just like her mum. Happy birthday darling x."

Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster, added: "Gorgeous pics Sal! Happy Birthday Hattie!" Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Windass, posted: "Happy birthday Hattie!!"

Fans were in disbelief at quickly time had passed and how much Hattie looked like Sally. Larkin took to the comments and said: "21!!! My goodness, time flies."

Kalice added: "She's your double. Happy birthday" Karen commented: "Lovely photos of you guys" Nicola posted: "Happy 21st Hattie, have the best day."
