ITV Coronation Street star Alan Halsall 'makes memories' with daughter after personal heartbreak

ITV Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has been busy "making memories" with his "best friend" daughter. ITV star Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, split from Tisha Merry after meeting the actress on the set of Coronation Street, where she portrayed waitress Steph Britton.

They announced their split in February after five years of romance. "Making memories by Chasing Waves & living the dream with my best friend," Alan wrote in a new update alongside his daughter during half-term, as they enjoyed some watersports together.

"Enjoy making even more lovely memories, you are a wonderful dad," a fan replied. Earlier this month, Alans returned to his usual stomping ground and this time took his daughter Sienna with him.

The soap hosted a well-being day on the famous set with stars of the show able to bring their friends and family for a fun day out. Sharing a picture of himself and Sienna, whose mum is former Coronation Street star and Alan's ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, to his Instagram Story as they posed outside Tyrone's place of work, Webster's Autocentre, Alan said: "Corrie fun day," before adding a GIF which read: "I love my daughter".

A second picture showed the pair outside Alan's fictional home. "Take your daughter to work day," he added as he and Sienna beamed for the camera. Alan also shared a string of snaps from the special day on his main Instagram grid as he gushed over the daughter and his workplace.

"There is so much love and pride in these pictures," he started the caption of his sweet post. "My Beautiful daughter makes me proud every single day and I love her with all my heart and also I’m so proud to be part of Coronation Street surrounded by brilliantly talented people, both in front of and behind the camera on a daily basis.

"I love my job!! #blessed." In reply, a fan said: "You are such a doting dad it’s wonderful. Love you in corrie great character." Another fan of the Weatherfield soap replied and told Alan: "Beautiful pictures and I’m sure she’s very proud of you too!"

"Precious pictures. The street wouldn’t be the same without you," agreed a third.
