ITV Coronation Street star's chilling film role revealed ahead of soap exit
A Coronation Street villain has revealed a chilling new role ahead of his soap exit. Emrhys Cooper will star in a horror film, due to be released next month.
The actor, who plays manipulative cult leader Rowan Cunliffe, is expected to leave the ITV soap before the year is out, after his cunning character was charged with blackmail and fraud. But away from the Weatherfield cobbles, Emrhys has been working on something else.
The 39-year-old was "excited" to tell his Instagram followers about his latest role, which will see him star alongside Hocus Pocus star Doug Jones. Emrhys revealed the film was a remake of the 1922 classic silent film, Nosferatu, the Mirror reports.
