ITV Dancing on Ice's Stephen Mulhern shares star's 'secret' injury before show that will turn your stomach
Dancing on Ice host Stephen Mulhern was full of praise for one celebrity on the latest show as he revealed the horrifying injury they had suffered in rehearsals. The host said he had 'full respect' for Coronation Street star Sam Aston after he had to have his shoulder 'clipped' back into place.
After taking a stumble on the ITV show while performing a lift in his latest routine with professional partner Molly Lanaghan, the actor scored 29 out of 40 points. Stephen then shared: "Full respect for carrying on, because not many people know this but earlier on you did fall badly.
"And they had to clip your shoulder back into place. So full respect everybody." The actor received a huge round of applause from the audience as he mimed being sick.

He praised Sam for putting lifts in, but said his "emotions dropped a little bit after the tumble", adding: "Don't let that affect you."
Ashley Banjo agreed: "Obviously it did lose momentum after you had the stumble," but encouraged Sam to show himself fully on the ice.
Dancing on Ice viewers were full of praise for Sam continuing after his accident. One wrote: "Awh Sam came out with a great knee slide, but no wonder he had a little stumble & was a little nervous after having his shoulder popped back in!"
Another said: "Sam is brilliant! Despite the stumble and the accident before tonight's performance he still carried and didn't give up. Well done Sam."
Dancing on Ice returns to ITV next Sunday evening.
