ITV Emmerdale dog Piper's return 'sealed' as fans 'work out' how - and it's soon
Emmerdale could be set to welcome back beloved dog Piper - as fans ‘work out’ how.
The beloved pup disappeared from the Dales a a few months after Tom King (James Chase) conjured up a sick plan to make his wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) think she had died.
As fans will recall, Tom has been abusing Belle for months, and in sickening scenes, he hit her dog Piper with his car. Tom later made out that he had spotted the pup on the side of the road.
Tom then ‘did whatever he could’ to save Piper, but broke the news to Belle that the dog was dead. However, this was not the case, and Piper is actually alive.

Following a memorial for the pooch, Tom was seen visiting a house away from the village and handed Piper, who was alive, over to a couple. He lied to them and said her owner wasn’t a nice person and Piper would be better with them.
As the weeks and months have gone by, Belle is completely unaware that her dog is actually alive. And recently, it was teased that Piper could make a comeback.
Speaking to The Sun at this year’s Inside Soap Awards, the owners of the dog who plays Piper were quizzed whether the dog could return. They said: “She is alive – you never know!” Now, viewers have soon shared their thoughts on how the dog could make a comeback.
Writing on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “Have a feeling Piper will return for either Emmerdale super soap week or in run up to Christmas as the storyline comes to an end, sooner the better please.”
Someone else added: “I'm hoping she gets out and taken to the vet for scanning.” A third penned: “I think she will get out of the new house someone will find her take her to the vets and they will scan her to check who she belongs to and it will all come to light.”
Another chimed in and mused: “I wonder if the couple bring Piper to see a vet and one of the vets sees her?” A fifth said: “I'm waiting for Belle's dog Piper to escape from her new owners and make her way back to Emmerdale, to be found by Rhona in the street who causes a big fuss, drawing the attention of Nicola and Jimmy. They realise that they've been fooled all along and tell the police.“
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
