ITV Emmerdale exit 'sealed' after five years as character left for dead
Emmerdale fans were left fearing for one character on Friday night as they were left for dead after a brutal attack.
During the latest instalment, Kim Tate, played by Claire King, was left shocked to learn a hooded figure had attempted to steal her car.
Upon watching back security footage, Kim soon realised who the culprit was and it was in fact Ross Barton, played by Michael Parr.
Using it to her advantage, Kim offered Ross an ultimatum - to get rid of her estranged husband, Will Taylor, played by Dean Andrews, or she would report him to the police. Kim insisted she didn't want Will dead but encouraged Ross to 'do whatever it takes' to make him leave the village for good amid their bitter split.

Later in the episode, Ross went through with the plan as he wore a disguise and tried to attack Will. However, Will pretended to be unconscious before he defended himself against Ross, revealing his identity.
As the two men got into a fight, Ross kicked Will away as he landed on the ground, violently hitting his head on a rock as the episode ended with him lifeless in a pool of blood while Ross looked on stunned.
It remains to be seen if Will survives the attack but could this be an exit for the character after five years on the hit ITV soap?
Will has had a dramatic few months amid the breakdown of his marriage with Kim. As fans will recall, earlier this year Will cheated on Kim with his ex Rose, played by Christine Tremarco.
Will was then blackmailed by a mystery person - only for it to be revealed as none other than Kim - who knew everything. The pair then took part in savage back and forths as they tried to get one up on each other.
Earlier this week, Kim offered Will £100,000 to get out of her life as quickly as possible. However, upon learning about his daughter, Dawn Fletcher's, played by Olivia Bromley, troubles with Billy Fletcher, played by Jay Kontzle, Will promised her she won't have to worry about money ever again, remaining defiant in his battle with Kim until Friday night.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
