ITV Emmerdale fans say 'as if' after Caleb's discovery

Emmerdale fans were shocked yesterday after finding out about Cain Dingle's betrayal of Moira while she was having a brain tumour removed in hospital. Cain left the hospital as the procedure happened as he struggled to cope with his wife having such a serious operation.

Cain cheated on Moira with his brother Caleb's wife, Ruby Fox-Miligan. Ruby was surprised to find her brother-in-law at the garage instead of at the hospital with Moira. The two shared a sudden and passionate kiss which escalated as the two could later be seen adjusting their outfits.

In tonight's episode both Cain and Ruby have been feeling the guilt of the actions. In one scene, Cain seemed close to revealing the truth to Charity but instead decided to tell her he had beaten up Jimmy King. He became emotional as he told Moira "I should never have left this room" after he was arrested for assault.

One fan picked up on the guilty conscience of Jeff Hordley's character. The fan said: "Emmerdale Cain last night 'nobody hears about this' today it's blab blab blab to Charity." The secret of the pair came under pressure when Caleb was putting papers in the bin and stumbled upon a box of emergency contraception. Fortunately, he thought they belonged to his daughter Steph and pointed the finger at Ross.

Some fans weren't too pleased with the scene. One said: "Like anyone would leave the packaging for the morning after pill in full visible view in the bin." Another fan added: "As if you'd leave a test at top of the bin."
