ITV Emmerdale fans 'expose' who killed Ruby's mum Helen in shock twist - but it's not Caleb
Emmerdale viewers are certain that Ruby Miligan’s mum was murdered - but husband Caleb isn’t the killer.
This week, viewers were introduced to Helen Fox (Sharon Maughan) the estranged mum of Ruby. Helen hadn't seen her daughter for years after she disowned Ruby for her relationship with her now husband Caleb.
Unbeknownst to Ruby, Caleb visited Helen in hospital after receiving several calls from her. There, Helen revealed that she was terminally ill and wanted to reconcile with her daughter.
Caleb agreed he would bring Ruby - but only if she paid him £100k. Helen ultimately agreed, before leaving. However, during Wednesday’s episode (September 18) things took an emotional turn.

After getting a call, Ruby turned up to the hospital to finally see her mum. Sadly though, Ruby was told Helen had passed away 20 minutes prior.
Entering the room, Ruby was confronted with the sight of her deceased mother. Meanwhile, Caleb, who was also in the hospital, was then seen watching an emotional Ruby talk to her dead mum.
Now, viewers are certain that Helen was killed off, and while some people think her death could be down to Caleb, others have an unlikely suspect.
Sharing their thoughts online, fans speculated that Ruby could have something to do with her mum’s passing. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, a viewer said: “Ruby’s mum died that was quick.”
In the comments section, fans shared their theories, with one writing: “I’m putting it out there, Ruby did her mom in.” A second agreed: “Would not put it past her, they were not close at all.”
Echoing their thoughts, a third chimed in: “Ruby killed her mum and is the one playing Caleb? I hope so.” A fourth penned: “She could frame him for the murder for revenge. I wouldn’t mess with her.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
