ITV Emmerdale fans 'rumble' unlikely duo blackmailing Will in shock betrayal

Emmerdale fans are convinced that they've figured out an unlikely duo blackmailing Will Taylor.

Soap fans will recall that Will has found himself at the centre of a disturbing blackmail plot in the village this week. Despite initial suspicions falling on his ex Rose Jackson and daughter Dawn Taylor, it appears that neither are involved, leaving Will in a state of fear over who is truly responsible.

In scenes this week, Will, who is being blackmailed to cover up his secret fling with ex-wife Rose Jackson from current wife Kim Tate, missed the money drop due to the devastating barn fire involving Moira Dingle. As a result of the missed money drop, things only ramp up next week.

In upcoming scenes, Will's estranged wife Kim is kidnapped amid the blackmail storyline as the blackmailer ups the stakes to £50K. In a desperate bid, Will asks Caleb Milligan for a loan in return for his shares in the haulage business. Having secured Caleb's loan, Will's chipper as he makes big promises to Kim.

However, his mood soon darkens when the blackmailer messages demanding payment. The next day, once Will has the £40K in cash from Caleb, he texts his blackmailer to let them know he has the cash.

Will then has the difficult task of breaking the news to Jimmy King, revealing his deal with Caleb and leaving Jimmy furious by his friend's betrayal. Things then go from bad to worse when Will arrives back at Home Farm for lunch to find Kim missing.

In a distressing turn of events, Will then receives a call from his blackmailer telling him they’ve abducted her. Following his blackmailer's instructions, Will arrives in a woodland area, eager to save his wife. However, Will is perplexed when he finds a mannequin dressed like Kim, goading him further into the woods... will Will and Kim be okay and who is behind the blackmail?

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers are convinced that two villagers are teaming up to blackmail Will. Soap watchers are convinced that Will's son-in-law Billy Fletcher is blackmailing him alongside Kim in a shock betrayal twist. One person said: "Hoping kim, billy are working together against will #Emmerdale", a different account put: "I think it is Billy that is blackmailing Will", another wrote: "I think Billy and Kim working together", a different soap watcher commented: "I think it's Kim with Billy's help" while another added: "Think it’s Kim & Billy working together."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
