ITV Emmerdale favourite devastated by death news as she's forced to make sad choice
Emmerdale aired a devastating death twist on Wednesday night's episode of the hit ITV soap.
During the latest instalment, Matty Barton and Mack Boyd were left alarmed when they noticed multiple sheep weren't moving on the farm as they quickly called the vets.
It wasn't long until Vanessa Woodfield showed up, where she told a devastated Moira Dingle that most of the sheep are dead and one's in a bad state. Vanessa was quick to ask if the sheep ate from a nearby trough to which a confused Moira said they do and son Matty had fed them before.
However, Matty was quick to point out that he didn't and that his mum had fed the sheep. Vanessa said that the sheep all had paint around their mouth and upon investigating the trough, realised the paint was all over the hay.

Moira was quick to get defensive as she admitted to painting fences earlier in the day but insisted she would never take paint into a field of live stock. However, her family and Vanessa were quick to show her that paint had somehow got into the field, leaving a confused Moira devastated.
Later in the episode, Moira made a devastating decision as she decided to stop working for the time being amid her health woes. An emotional Moira said: "If I can't work what else am I supposed to do? This tumour is taking away everything - my job, my independence, I don't even know who I am anymore..."
However, after fearing she could do more damage and more lives at risk, a sobbing Moira agreed to stop working for the time being, adding: "It's the only way."
Just last month, Emmerdale confirmed a heartbreaking brain tumour storyline for Moira, where she was diagnosed with a type of brain tumour called a meningioma.
The shock diagnosis explained Moira's behaviour recently, where she had been suffering from symptoms including changes to her personality, violent outbursts, confusion, memory loss and seizures.
The tumour, although non-cancerous, has left Moira seriously worried about her future and concerned about the possibility of surgery, as well as other treatments.
Emmerdale has worked closely with the charities Brains Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity, who will continue to support the production team to give Moira’s story a realistic and authentic depiction.
If you have been affected by this story, you can get support and help at The Brain Tumour Charity or Brains Trust.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
