ITV Emmerdale Kim's next move revealed as soap expert 'lets slip' Will blackmail twist

Emmerdale's Will Taylor, played by Dean Andrews, is set to face a grim twist in his blackmail saga as his wife Kim Tate becomes the next target.

Earlier this year, fans of the ITV soap saw Will caught up in a romantic entanglement with his ex-lover, Rose Jackson, portrayed by Christine Tremarco.

Rose subsequently vanished, leaving Will tormented by demands for silence money over his affair with her. The blackmail started ominously with a bouquet bearing a damning note: "I know what you did."

Regular viewers are now suspecting that Kim is not only aware of the entire fiasco but is also orchestrating the blackmail plot. Soap expert Sharon Marshall has given another hint that Kim could be the one sending the messages.

On ITV's This Morning on Wednesday (September 19), Sharon revealed: "The mystery blackmailer is striking again and upping the stakes for Will.", reports Leeds Live.

A clip was then shown from an upcoming scene where Will receives yet another message from his blackmailer just moments after Kim leaves the room.

Presenter Ben Shephard observed: "Did she have her phone in her hand just then? " To which Sharon responded: "I rewound it thinking 'has she got time to get it out and send that text'. She'd have to be very quick doing it."

She elaborated: "Things are going to get worse as Will gets lured into the dark woods as Kim is taken. There's also a shock kiss with Laurel and the vicar. She's got a thing for vicars does our Laurel. She was married to Ashley but it starts off with a row over the harvest festival and it turns into a hot bed of love as they head off and I think he shows her his harvest moon."

In recent episodes, Will has been grappling with increasing pressure from an anonymous blackmailer. His anxiety reached new heights when he discovered a break-in at Home Farm.

The arrival of a detective stirred up concerns about Kim's safety, yet she soon returned, revealing the theft of her prized horse.

During police interrogation, Kim hinted that Will might have insights into who the perpetrator could be, leaving everyone to wonder who is truly orchestrating the blackmail.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
