ITV Emmerdale's Will Taylor star Dean Andrews' second TV role away from soap revealed
Emmerdale's Will Taylor, played by Dean Andrews, is currently embroiled in a gripping blackmail plot on the popular ITV soap.
Since joining the cast in 2019, Will has been at the centre of numerous dramatic storylines, with recent episodes showing him being blackmailed by an unknown individual following turmoil with his ex Rose Jackson.
Before Emmerdale, Dean, 61, had already established a successful acting career with roles in Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and Last Tango in Halifax, among others. However, it's not just on Emmerdale where fans can see Dean. The actor recently revealed a surprise role away from the ITV soap on Instagram.
Sharing some sunny photos from his Italian holiday with wife Helen, one fan asked: "Are you the voice over on the 24 hours in AandE xx", to which Dean responded: "I am" along with a thumbs up emoji.

In addition to his work on Emmerdale, Dean provides the voiceover for Channel 5's Casualty 24/7, a documentary series launched in 2018 that takes viewers inside the casualty department of a Barnsley hospital, showcasing the work of staff, volunteers and patients, reports the Mirror.
Meanwhile, back in Emmerdale, the drama for Will is set to escalate next week when his estranged wife Kim Tate is kidnapped as part of the ongoing blackmail storyline. In this week's episodes, a fire at Moira Dingle's farm prevents Will from delivering the money to the blackmailer, leading to the stakes being raised to £50K in the upcoming week.
In a desperate move, Will approaches Caleb Milligan for a loan in exchange for his shares in the haulage business. After securing the loan from Caleb, Will is in high spirits as he makes grand promises to Kim. However, his mood quickly changes when he receives a message from the blackmailer demanding payment. The following day, once Will has the £40K in cash from Caleb, he informs his blackmailer that he has the money.
Will then faces the challenging task of informing pal Jimmy King about his deal with Caleb, leaving Jimmy enraged by his friend's betrayal. The situation deteriorates further when Will returns to Home Farm for lunch only to discover that Kim is missing.
In a distressing twist, Will receives a call from his blackmailer who claims to have kidnapped her. Following the instructions given by his blackmailer, Will arrives at a woodland area, determined to rescue his wife. However, he is left confused when he discovers a mannequin dressed like Kim, luring him deeper into the woods... will Will and Kim be okay?
