ITV Good Morning Britain presenter admits shock feud with Jamie Oliver and slams chef
An ITV Good Morning Britain star has been embroiled in a feud with a top celebrity chef. ITV Good Morning Britain star Adil Ray has slammed Jamie, the Channel 4 TV chef and culinary whizz, and boldly declared he could "do his job".
Having watched an episode of Jamie: Fast and Simple on Monday night, Adil said: "Jamie Oliver just cooked a curry using a supermarket curry paste and microwaved a popadom. I think I might try to do a cooking show."
Sharing the premise of Fast and Simple, Jamie previously said: "Anyone who knows me knows how much I love tinned beans....they’re budget friendly and live happily in your cupboard for ages AND they have an incredible ability to take on flavours from all over the world !

"And this expression of them is just one of the recipes in my new series Jamie: Fast & Simple on Channel 4." Replying to Adil, one social media user said: "He can’t still be doing stupid things like this after 20 years in the game"
"My lamb pasanda started on the hob and finished in the oven for an hour is epic (just sayin)," a second said. A third typed: "Blimey. Even I make my own curries & samosas & I can't say I'm all that in the kitchen." Another said: "I made one from scratch today, and it was absolutely delicious. No jars in this house."
The episode synopsis explained: "Jamie makes a creamy red pepper pasta dish and lets the oven do the work with a simple chicken and bread sauce traybake. He also showcases a big beef brisket that can be used for multiple meals and shares one of his store cupboard tips, which makes tinned beans the star of the show. The chef then wraps it all up with a foolproof pastry, as he rustles up a free-form strawberry tart."
