ITV I'm A Celebrity was nearly forced OFF AIR as rampaging storms barrelled into the Australian bush - sparking chaos. I'm A Celebrity continues to air each and every night from 9pm on ITV, with Ant and Dec hosting proceedings from Monday to Sunday.

But the popular show, which saw Jane Moore exit the camp and become the first eliminated on Friday night (November 29), was thrown into chaos by devastating storms that completely destroyed parts of the ITV reality show's set.

Ant and Dec were show bosses saying the show might not go on as the show set in New South Wales, Australia, was slammed with torrential rain and high winds. Dec said: "We all got a text this morning saying the rain was so bad we might not be able to get in today."

And Ant confirmed the story, explaining: "We almost didn't make it in". Ant revealed: "[The trial] has been delayed because of the weather. So we will be here for a lot longer today." Dec added: "We just have to make sure that the trial that was scheduled is doable in the area that it was.

"Everything is a little up in the air here." Joelsaid: "People don’t understand that this show is more than what you see on tele. There is an entire infrastructure of stuff." Ant went on and added: "Things have blown down in the night.

"There’s a tent out the back there where friends and family come and guests on the ITV2 show stay before they go on. And that’s all blown away." Ant, one half of the Geordie duo, went on to say: "That’s all gone. It’s been pretty tough."

Morgan Pumpa from the Bureau of Meteorology warned of severe storms, stating on Friday: “We do have quite a large area of thunderstorm activity today stretching out across many states."
