ITV I'm A Celebrity Dean McCullough's 'elimination sealed' after he 'disappears'

I'm A Celebrity viewers were frustrated with Dean McCullough after he 'disappeared' from part of tonight's episode. The Radio 1 DJ was nowhere to be seen when it was time to complete his water duties, a task he shares with KISS FM DJ Melvin Odoom.

The pair are currently tasked with making sure the campmates have enough water. But when it was time to top the water up, Dean was nowhere to be seen.

Melvin told his fellow campmates: “This is a lone man situation, he’s very good at disappearing.” When tasked with carrying one pot of water back to camp, he told his fellow campmates: “That is no joke, the pot is so heavy.”

He added: “I hate doing the water guys I’ve said it, I’m just gonna have to hold my hands up, it’s an awful job and I hate it, and I don’t wanna do it anymore. Guys I can’t, it’s not for me!”

As he continued, Danny the camp leader said to Dean: “Just get on with it mate.” As Melvin encouraged Dean to carry on fetching water with him, and the camp told him to adopt a positive attitude, Dean said: “Look, no beef, no drama, I just hate my job!”

Melvin joked: “Listen, your new name is Houdini because you like to disappear!” The camp descended into laughter as Oti exclaimed: “Shots fired!” while Dean was left too shocked to speak.

I'm A Celebrity fans were quick to call Dean out for his actions following his disappearance. Posting on X, Sean said: "Does Dean actually do anything to help anyone? I swear even Homer Simpson does more at the Nuclear Power Plant than Dean does in the I'm A Celebrity jungle."

Lee wrote: "So Dean didn’t want to help Jane with the fire wood and now won’t help Melvin do the water!!! He's unbelievable."

Stacey simply stated: "Get Dean out," and Jenny added: "get Dean out I [swear to God]." Noey said: "Dean's moaning about Jane not doing her job but he’s not even doing his!! Get him off the show!"

Loni added:"Dean is truly giving off the vibe of the kid that’s uncontactable throughout making the group presentation but shows up on the day and won’t let anyone else talk." I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV and ITV X
