I'm A Celebrity fans are making the same demand about Danny Jones after spotting something that has 'never been done before' on the ITV show.

The McFly star was crowned King of the Jungle on Sunday night (December 8) after winning the most votes from the public. The singer, 38, found himself in the final alongside Coleen Rooney and Rev Richard Coles, who took on two final trials together in a bid to win their desired three-course meal during their last night in camp.

When the results came in, it was Richard who finished in first place whilst Coleen was named runner-up. After winning the title of King of the Jungle 2024, an elated Danny joined Lorraine live from the Gold Coast for his first live interview since being crowned.

Speaking about how it feels to be reunited with his wife and little boy Cooper, Danny said: “I think that was the best surprise I ever had in my life…. To see my family there in the jungle, smiling at me, that was unbelievable.”

Opening up about what he loved most about the camp, Danny said: "I think what made it for me was the campmates. The campmates were incredible. They asked questions and they listened... It was the most overwhelming, amazing, rewarding experience I will ever have in my life, Lorraine.”

He continued: “Barry was amazing. He was my jungle Dad. He always had my back and I think I leaned on him a lot for advice and kind of that arm around sometimes because you are very vulnerable in there.

“There are times where you are talking about some deeper stuff and I didn’t expect to open up like that. I didn’t expect to show my vulnerable side… I showed a side that only my nearest and dearest see really. I have been myself and showed everything and I feel really thankful that everyone bothered to vote for me. I feel on top of the world being King of the Jungle.”

Lorraine then joked: "I think the motto is, if you're in a reality show, just give you the crown. You won The Masked Singer in January quite rightly, of course you and Tom won The Voice, and now you're King of the Jungle. It's extraordinary."

Danny then responded: "To do the treble this year, I've had a crazy year. I was meant to have six months off and move house but when I'm A Celeb came in I thought screw it, let's do it."

And fans of the ITV show also picked up on the star's treble victory, as they are now demanding he gets a 'National TV Award'. Taking to X, @superTV247 wrote: "Danny Jones is not just king of the jungle! He is the KING OF TV! Started off the year as the winner of The Masked Singer, then won The Voice alongside Tom with their artist Ava, and now he’s gone and won I’m A Celeb. He deserves some sort of NTA for this! #ImACeleb."
