ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers say 'it's criminal' as first exit 'sealed' after Barry McGuigan 'replaced'
I'm A Celebrity votes are worried an unexpected campmate may be eliminated first. At the end of Thursday's episode, Ant and Dec revealed the bombshell news the first elimination of the 2024 season will take place tonight.
Friday's show will also see another Bushtucker Trial as two contestants go up against each other in Tanks of Torture. It was up to the contestants to decide who would be taking on the latest challenge on TV's toughest entertainment challenge.
It was decided that Barry McGuigan and Oti Mabuse would be taking on their challenge. However, ITV2's spin-off show, Unpacked, confirmed a turn of events as it revealed Melvin Odoom had replaced Barry.
Melvin has replaced Barry as the DJ has yet to complete a Bushtucker Trial in the chance. Viewers following the show on social media platform are worried the DJ was getting one last trial as he may be the first to exit the camp tonight.

Michelle said: "Guys VOTE Melvin, I’m worried he might go under the radar and go first" Steve commented: "Vote to keep Melvin in. We haven’t seen nearly enough of him and he’s 2nd to bottom in the betting odds.
"Criminal if he goes that early. He hasn’t even done a trial yet. And he’d be hilarious since he’s scared of literally everything" Glorelles added: "I didn’t vote my favourite but I voted for Melvin because I think he has a high chance of not getting enough votes and I want him to have a chance to do a trial"
Imogen added: "Everyone vote for Melvin! Underrated king!" A preview of Tanks of Torture shows Melvin and Oti locked in water tanks with bowls over their heads. If Melvin is voted off, fans have shared their hope that Carol Vorderman would be waiting for him on the bridge as he exited.
Viewers in hysterics as Melvin revealed his "major crush" on the former Countdown presenter. Melvin's fellow campmates encouraged him to act how he would ask out Carol after he admitted shying away from talking to her at the Pride of Britain awards.
Tulisa Contostavlos shared some words of advice as she said: "Melvin, a strong woman like that is gonna appreciate you going: 'I just wanna say I think you're a sensational woman and I'd love to take you out for a drink and get to know you if you'd be happy to oblige me.'"
The two acted out how Melvin should ask Carol out. Speaking in character, he said: "You look sensational today, you're actually glowing, has anyone ever said that?"
Before adding: "Listen, I've booked a restaurant for next week, it's gonna be Thai food all expenses paid, I'm gonna send the cab to your house for about 8pm, I'll see you there."
Melvin was hopeful Carol would be tuning in as he said: "She could be watching this right now and be thinking, ‘I need myself a jungle man.’"
Melvin's wish come true as Carol has addressed the potential romance on Instagram this morning. Carol, who competed on I'm A Celebrity in 2016 and the All Stars show in 2023, said: "Well hello @melvinodoom, or shall I say Melvin Vorderman or Jungle Man which sounds very much like Vorder Man?
"I'm having so much fun watching the camp mates having a joke with Melvin in the @imacelebrity jungle and @tulisacontostavlos you did a great impression."
Last year's I'm A Celebrity contestant, Fred Sirieix, joked Carol should take extreme measures as he said: "Buy a ticket and fly to Oz to wait for Melvin on the other side of the bridge. It’s a win win if you ask me x"
Doctor Amir Khan added: "I'm totally addicted to this love affair!" Melvin's family and friends are currently running his social media accounts while he is in the account and a post in the comments agreed with Fred.
The post said: "Dreams come true kids! Just need you to meet him on the bridge now" I'm A Celebrity continues at 9pm on ITV and ITV X
