Jane Moore has been brutally scolded for a "sly dig" at her camp mates after her ITV I’m A Celebrity exit. Jane, the ITV Loose Women star and The Sun newspaper journalist and columnist, became the first voted out of the camp on Friday night.

As she departed camp, Moore made a pointed remark that "hard work does not get rewarded" to her co-stars. Jane sat down with Ant and Dec, the show's hosts, to discuss becoming the first contestant eliminated from the popular 9pm programme.

Showbiz reporter Stephanie Takyi told GB News: "I think I could have placed bets on Jane being first out. For the whole week, viewers have just seen her moaning. She was complaining about ageism and sexism against Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones because they asked her to do the washing task."

"She basically said it was okay, she said she got a lot out of other people. But I think a lot of people didn't get much out of her, she didn't light up their screens as she does on Loose Women," Takyi added. Takyi told host Dawn Neesom: "She wants the people who are working hard in camp to win, such as Coleen and Melvin.

"But I think she was making a sly dig at Dean who has been quite entertaining, crying, shouting, doing the full works. But he's not actually a hard worker. So I think in that sense I understand what she's saying. But people are always going to gravitate to the people like Coleen and Dean, who are just interesting to watch."

And Dawn said: I think she's wonderful, I really wanted her to win, but I knew that tabloid journalists never win things. But the first thing she did when she came out was like, oh, just goes to show that hard work doesn't pay. And I'm thinking, no, Jane, just say something nice about everybody!"
