Medics were called into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! camp following a Bushtucker trial.

In the most recently aired trial, Tulisa required immediate medical attention in a scene that never aired. In last night's episode (Wednesday, November 27), the N-Dubz singer faced her fears in the challenge titled Shock Around The Clock, but was struggling with a new scare after believing she had an insect had burrowed into her ear.

Confronting the trial on her own, the 36-year-old was surrounded by a swarm of bugs whilst being moved around a giant clock. In the enclosed space, the singer was convinced something crawled into her ear canal.

However, producers chose not to air these scenes, Plymouth Live reports. An insider speaking to The Sun divulged: "Mid-way through the trial, the show medics rushed in to help.

"Tulisa was convinced something was in her ear - she wasn't sure if it was a cockroach, cricket, or fly - and had to have a syringe wash. She carried on after that, but she was horrified," reports the Mirror.

ITV representatives have since verified that a medical professional attended to help with her minor emergency during the ordeal, noting that Tulisa received a syringe wash and then powered through the rest of the trial.

Tulisa was nominated by the public to face the trial after a particularly bad former trial, which she screamed throughout. During her trial on the show, when insects descended upon her, Tulisa constantly urged the hosts with the phrase, "Just get it over with!"

Upon completing the challenge, she secured five out of the possible twelve stars to bring food back to camp. The pop star confessed afterward that her mind "just went blank" during the ordeal.

She elaborated: "When I was in there my brain just wouldn't function, it just went blank, I was just trying to survive."

Despite her efforts, viewers were unimpressed with what they saw as undue assistance from presenters Ant and Dec throughout the task. In a segment featuring the phonetic alphabet, after Tulisa acknowledged being unfamiliar with it, Ant hinted: "When you get pulled over by the police..." This clue hinted at the word 'golf' for 'G'.

Dec, too, offered a subtle tip, stating: "Sport... when you use clubs and a ball."

These prompts from Ant and Dec prompted reactions from the audience, who took to X to express their disapproval. One viewer complained: "Why are Ant and Dec trying to help Tulisa?!" While another remarked irritably: "Who's answering the questions in this trial, Ant and Dec or Tulisa?"
