Coleen Rooney made a surprising confession about husband Wayne as she spoke about the relationship between the two over the years. The pair from Liverpool have been married for 16 years as Coleen admitted "we're happy now, after all those years… we're a team.”

The mum-of-four told internet star GK Barry that Wayne always wrote her poems. This revelation was met with shocked responses by both viewers and campmates.

GK Barry said "Wayne Rooney" in disbelief while Coleen shared more about the intimate gesture. She added: "You know the hotel pads? He was always writing a little poem and putting it in his bag and he’d give it to me when we got home.”

TikTok's GK Barry took to the Bush Telegraph to send a message to her own girlfriend as she announced she wants the same treatment from her going forward. Sharing her thoughts on Wayne's romantic ways, she said: "Never did I ever think that Wayne Rooney had it in him to write a love poem. I don’t know him but I never saw him as that type of man and I’m so intrigued at what they would say.”

The gesture is no longer a regular feature of the celebrity couple's marriage with Coleen not being able to recall the last time she received one off the former football professional. The WAG revealed Wayne is romantic but they aren't the type to be "lovey dovey" out in public as she placed emphasis on the "little things" that keep the relationship alive and it’s special when someone’s done something just for you, and the words mean something.”
