ITV I'm A Celebrity's Maura Higgins 'ends friendship' with Reverend Richard Coles
The truth behind Maura Higgins' frostiness with Reverend Richard Coles has emerged - after the pair seemed to clash on ITV I'm A Celebrity on Saturday night. The latest edition of the show, which was hosted by Ant and Dec, saw Love Island beauty Maura at odds with the former BBC Strictly Come Dancing star.
Tuning in from the UK, fans of the show were concerned when Maura seemed annoyed at the Rev. During a brief scene, Maura snapped: "We're no longer friends, Father," at Richard, with fans taking to social media to comment.
One fan commented: "WAIT WHATS GOING DOWN NOT MAURA AND RICHARD?". Another said: "We can’t have Maura and father Richard falling out…" as a third commented: "Richard and Maura falling out was NOT on my bucket list."

But it turned out Richard had just told Maura and the others how he had voted for himself for Camp Leader, causing to Maura jokingly end their friendship. She went on to joke she was "finished" with him but it was thankfully all in jest.
It comes after Coles made a 'brutal' yet 'hilarious' dig at Love Island's Maura two days ago. From sharing emotional stories to swapping jokes with his other campmates, the former pop star is now a surprise favourite to win.
Higgins was clearly distressed throughout the trial and Coles did his best to calm her. After the trial had finished, however, everyone's favourite reverend couldn't help but make a subtle dig at Maura's time on ITV 2 show Love Island.
"You met worse things on Love Island Maura, except they had 2 legs," he said. Taking to Twitter, now X, to laugh at the comment, one said: "Rev Richard is hilarious". And another also praised the cheeky barb and added: "That was brutal! fair play though!"
