ITV James Martin Saturday Morning hit by boycott as viewers complain 'it's pathetic'
ITV James Martin Saturday Morning viewers have been forced to tune out of the show and BOYCOTT - with complaints about the programme being "pathetic". James was back on ITV on Saturday (November 16) with the likes of Jake Humphrey as his guest.
But the show, which aired until 11.40am, left fans fuming on Twitter/X. One sniped: "I thought your programme was about cooking? All you have done is talk to people now and forget to tell everyone how you’ve made stuff, like your gravy and potatoes it is really pathetic."
It came as James' show continued to post recipes for fans. "Creamy goat’s cheese wrapped in layers of pesto, spinach, and buttery filo pastry, baked to golden perfection. Paired with sweet and tangy beetroot chutney, this recipe from @ChefTonyTobin is a showstopper!," the show wrote.

A fan replied: "Can I just say I absolutely loved last weeks show. I had to record it which I don’t normally do I love watching it live. The food from beginning to end was incredible and mostly so simple to cook. You are an inspiration James. Thank you"
Replying to the show, another said: "Had a really crap week. With the Shingles. So looking forward to it. JH" But issuing another complaint, a fan said: "Love the program,, love the food, but please please please STOP calling everything AMAZING."
The episode synopsis explained on Radio Times: "James is joined by sports presenter Jake Humphrey, and there are recipes from chefs Tony Tobin and Shivi Ramoutar, and cocktails from mixologist Merlin Griffiths." The episode is available via ITV X.
