Too much cholesterol can block your blood vessels, making you more likely to have heart problems or a stroke. A person can usually lower their cholesterol by making healthier lifestyle changes, though some people may also need to take medication, SurreyLive reports.

According to the NHS, high cholesterol is mainly caused by eating fatty food, being overweight, smoking, drinking alcohol, and not getting enough exercise. It can also be genetic.

Dr Khan added: "If you've noticed your eyelids are droopy, either one or both of them, that could be harmless. It could be normal for you, but if it's new and persistent, get it checked. It could be a problem with the brain, the nerve, or the muscles of the eyes.

"Moving down to the chin area, if you have excess hair [here] that could be a sign of polycystic ovarian syndrome. That's where you get a hormonal imbalance, raised testosterone."
