Love Island has once again seized the nation's interest as a new group of singletons settle into the ITV villa in search of their perfect match.

The show, presented by Maya Jama, has been offering couples a shot at love since it first aired in 2015 - and it has often delivered. Many Islanders who participate in the show manage to keep their relationships alive outside the villa.

There have even been Love Island weddings and babies.

However, while many sadly do not last, there are a few that have stood the test of time and remained with their partner since their stint on the show. Here, we take a look at some of the couples who owe their enduring relationship to Love Island, reports Wales Online.

Love Island: All Stars (2024):

Molly Smith, 30, and Tom Clare, 24, emerged victorious when Love Island invited previous contestants back to the villa for another shot at finding their ideal partner last year. They frequently share photos together on Instagram, including holidays abroad and chill times at home.

Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie are the other couple that remains strong after the All Stars series. They revealed on Instagram that they tuned in to watch the latest series when it kicked off on Monday night (June 3).

The couple regularly post updates about their life together on their Instagram accounts. Both often engage in playful banter in the comments section.

Sophie, 25, sister of Saturday's bombshell Rochelle Humes, recently celebrated her beau Tom's 30th birthday, sharing a series of snaps on Instagram. She couldn't fathom how she had only known Tom less than four months ago and admitted that she "can't imagine life without [him]."

Love Island: Winter (2023):

In the winter edition of Love Island 2023, Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki found love somewhat late in the series, coming together during the explosive Casa Amor segment. Despite the passage of months, they're still going strong, frequently popping up on each other's social channels to their followers' delight who wished they had won that year.

Also from Love Island Winter 2023, Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble are still very much smitten with each other after leaving the villa - albeit a brief separation and matching tattoos seven months later. The couple recently ticked off Australia on their travel list, flooding their fans with adorable photos and videos.

Love Island: Summer (2023):

Moving onto Love Island Summer 2023, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan stole the show. The duo not only emerged victorious but also created history as the first-ever winning duo from Casa Amor.

Fast forward to 2024, the charming Kai got down on one knee proposing to his lovely lady in Cambridge, aboard a punting boat.

Kai took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his followers, writing: "Introducing the next Mrs Fagan. Beautiful, caring, loving and smart are just some of the words that describe you. I love loving you, I love you and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga are a rare pair who found love on day one in the villa. Since their departure, they've stayed smitten and even took the step to move in together towards the end of 2023.

Love Island's Will Young and Jessie Wynter have arguably made the most significant leap since leaving the villa. After filming wrapped up, 25 year old Will would regularly jet off from England to visit Jessie, 27, in her native Australia, where they quickly became fan favourites.

They've consistently featured on each other's social media accounts. In March, Jessie made the permanent move to England to live with Will and his family on their sprawling 700-acre farm near Buckinghamshire.
