ITV This Morning star declares love for Rylan Clark as viewers issue demand

Rylan Clark was flooded with messages of support as he made his return to This Morning. The 35-year-old hosted today's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme alongside Josie Gibson.

The hosts stepped in to present Monday's episode as regular presenters, Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, continue to enjoy their well-earned summer break. The two fronted a jam packed edition that included an interview with Desperate Housewives star, Teri Hatcher.

Fans following the show on social media platform X were thrilled as Rylan made his long awaited return to the sofa. @UKTVForever said: "Josie & Rylan are a great duo.... Please make them permanent #ThisMorning."

Sandie added: "So nice to have @Rylan back on the tv for the week" Jason said: "Rylan on This Morning never fails to get me in hysterics, should be on way more often"

Rylan took to Instagram after the show to reflect on the first episode of his summer hosting stint. He shared snaps alongside Teri and Josie with the caption: "Lovely morning x"

Clodgah McKenna fronted the cookery section on Monday's edition of This Morning. She was thrilled to have Rylan back on the show as she took to the comments to share an emotional tribute to the former X Factor contestant. She said: "LOVE you!!!"

More of Rylan's followers took to the comments and hoped he could host the show more frequently. Ruth said: "Rylan, you are everything! Wish you were on there permanently, I’d watch every day if you were xx"

Rylan showed off his new look as he started off his This Morning hosting stint. He took to Instagram last month to reveal he has changed his hairstyle.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter sported highlights in his hair which he revealed to his followers in July. The reality TV star captioned the post: "Summer." Fans were full of praise for Rylan's new look. Poppy said: " I love your new look Rylan." Sue posted: "Love your hair , looks great xx"
