Dermot O'Leary has shared a sweet tribute to his wife for their 12th wedding anniversary. The This Morning presenter, who regularly hosts the ITV show with Alison Hammond, married Dee Koppang in 2012 at St Mary's Church in Chiddingstone.

The pair are usually quite private about their personal life, but Dermot gave Instagram followers a rare treat over the weekend when he posted an affectionate throwback picture from their wedding. Dermot, 51, shared the black and white snap showing Dee's wedding dress and his dapper suit.

He captioned the snap: "12 years!," adding a red love heart. The couple met at a TV production company, leading to a lengthy nine-year romance before Dermot proposed in New York in 2011.

Dermot has previously spoken about their relationship. Addressing supporters during a Q&A, he divulged his recipe for marital succcess.

He said: "No marriage is perfect. From the start we gave each other a lot of slack and compromised.

"This person's your best friend. Try not to give them a hard time. It's down to letting someone still have an active life individually. It's about being there when you need to be there."

The couple share three-year-old son, Kaspar. Dermot previously told The Sunday Times : "Having a child has changed what I want from life and what makes me happy. Do I need another car? The latest gadget? A bit of vintage Van Morrison vinyl? No, forget the material stuff.

"What I want is to be with the people I love!" He added sadly: "Dee's work means that we're not always together but, those evenings when we are, we make the most of spending proper time together as a family. I can't understand those parents who don't enjoy changing nappies or crawling around on the carpet pretending to be a racing car. Isn't that the absolute joy of being a parent?"
