ITV's Lorraine Kelly celebrates major emotional milestone
Lorraine Kelly has marked an emotional milestone of 40 years on TV.
During today’s (October 2) episode of Lorraine, the presenter was celebrated by her peers in a special edition dedicated to her four decades on screen.
Co-hosted by show regulars Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh, the special featured tributes from Lorraine’s brother Graham, as well as messages from Tom Jones, Gary Barlow, Brian McFadden, Aled Jones, Rylan Clark, Graham Norton and Ant and Dec.

She was even serenaded with a rendition of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s ‘The Power of Love’ by singer Holly Johnson.
The episode also featured Lorraine, Ranvir and Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway reminiscing about her time on GMTV, while the show also looked back at her work on campaigns such as Woman of the Year, No Butts and Change and Check.
It comes ahead of a documentary this evening called Lorraine Kelly: 40 Unforgettable Years, which will air on ITV at 9pm.
“I might have mentioned it, that I'm a granny but this is going to be so lovely to show [granddaughter] Billie when she's old enough, as well with the documentary tonight, the most amazing photo album,” Lorraine said on the show.

“It just feels like it's gone by in a flash and I've been so incredibly lucky because, mainly with the people that I work with, all of these incredible people, my great team. It's a joy to go into work every morning, an absolute joy.”
She added at the end of the episode: “I'll tell you what, the biggest thing that's ever happened to me is baby Billie. That is the best thing ever, to see your baby, having a baby. I mean, what a year, what a year.”
The special concluded with Lorraine donning her Masked Singer UK Owl outfit and singing a cover of Kylie Minogue’s ‘Padam Padam’.
Lorraine airs on weekday mornings from 9am on ITV.
