iWitness: Volcanic eruption looms over Bali

Bali’s largest volcano, Mount Agung, has seen increased activity over the past few months with two back-to-back eruptions occurring over the weekend. As smoke continues to rise from the peak, seismologists are now warning that a major eruption, which would devastate the surrounding areas, could be imminent. All air traffic over Bali has been shut down due to poor conditions, leaving many travelers stranded in the popular tourist destination. Emilio Kuzma-Floyd, an Australian photographer living in Indonesia, spoke to Yahoo News about conditions on the ground, citing a mixture of panic and awe as the prevailing emotion among locals.
