J.K. Rowling Got the Most Perfect Harry Potter Birthday Cake Ever
J.K. Rowling celebrated her birthday Sunday with a cake shaped like King’s Cross, the station in the beloved Harry Potter book series where trains depart to take those in the wizarding world to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The author, who turned 51, shared with fans some of the gifts she was surprised with for her birthday, including a mug with an owl and an expletive on it from her son and a large King’s Cross cake. The King’s Cross train station is home to the secretive platform nine and three-quarters.
